One day I received a phone call from my mother, who lives alone in Texas. She told me that her 15-year-old car had been breaking down too often lately and she was requesting us to lend her some money so that she could buy a newer model. There wasn’t much I could do once it started. I ducked out of there right away. So I thought I was alright. But when I went to check out one of the managers came up to me and asked me to come with him. He showed me the video of me knocking all the vases over. I started crying. He told me I’d still have to replace a good portion of them.

He cut me a deal but I still couldn’t afford it. He asked me if I had a car. I told him I did. He told me I should take out a car title loan in Long beach. It would only be 6.6% monthly he said. Most auto pawn loans are much higher but California has laws protecting it. A fast cash loan paid for the mistake.

I have plenty of money left over from the loan actually. I need some ideas about what I should spend it on.
